# Aster

> Aster（Aster Terminal）是面向 macOS 14+ 的开源原生终端工作区，以 AppKit 构建，终端由 Ghostty 内核驱动，可以在一个窗口里用递归分屏并排使用终端、文件、编辑器、预览与 Agent 会话。

Aster 是一个原生 macOS 终端工作区：标签、任意方向分屏、文件预览、Agent 会话与本机补全都在同一个 AppKit 窗口里。它以 MIT 许可证开源，免费使用，不收集使用数据。

Aster is an open-source, native macOS terminal workspace for macOS 14 and later. Built natively with AppKit on the Ghostty terminal core, it puts terminals beside file browsers, editors, previews, and agent sessions in recursive splits within one window. It is free, MIT-licensed, and collects no usage data.

- 技术栈：用 Swift 和 AppKit 写成的原生 macOS 应用，不是 Electron，也不用 SwiftUI；终端引擎是 Ghostty 内核。设置页是应用内置的本地 WebKit 页面，不加载远程内容。
- 许可证：MIT，免费，无需注册账号。安装包是已签名并经 Apple 公证的 DMG。
- 隐私：不收集使用数据，补全和学习只在本机进行。崩溃报告是可选功能，默认关闭。
- 界面语言：简体中文、繁体中文、英语、日语、法语、德语，共六种。
- 终端：完整 VT100/xterm、ANSI 真彩色、鼠标、超链接，以及 vim、top、fzf 等全屏 TUI。
- 工作区：多标签（垂直、顶部、底部三种布局），任意方向递归分屏，混排终端、文件浏览器、编辑器与预览。
- 远程机器与 SSH：可以把 Linux 服务器等添加为远程机器，终端运行在远端后台会话服务里，断开后进程和布局保留；也可以直接打开原生 SSH 标签，口令只存 macOS 钥匙串。
- Agent 会话：支持 Claude Code、Codex、OpenCode、Cursor CLI 等，会话自动获得标题、运行状态与完成通知，transcript 可在 File Pane 回看。
- 本机补全：内置 714 份 Fig 命令规格，加上文件与别名候选和隐私感知学习，补全不经过任何服务器。
- 主题：24 套内置主题，带实时终端预览，可导入 .astertheme。
- 工作区文件：整个工作区可导出为 .asterrecipe，并在启动时恢复会话。
- 更新：内置 Sparkle 2，每天后台检查一次；安装包必须同时通过 EdDSA 签名和 macOS 公证校验才会安装。
